Managers can encourage the use of PTO by having a straightforward modernized leave policy. Shaming others for taking is still prevalent in the workforce as well as an unhealthy work-life balance. By encouraging a more healthy balanced lifestyle and addressing outdated practices can change the company culture to be more health-minded. These changes can help with employee retention and seeing higher levels of productivity across the board.
